Overwhelming Sadness

>> Tuesday, June 03, 2008

A couple years ago Lucas bought me a Belgium waffle maker for Christmas. It made the absolute best waffle in no time flat. Last week I went to make waffles for the kids. I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited for the waffle maker to heat up. It never did. Sadness! Utter and complete sadness overtook me.

This morning Tim came home and took the whole machine apart to see if he could find the problem. I was very hopeful. But it is dead. DEAD!!! DEAD!!! How we will survive?

Oh! That is sad! Our electrical system can't handle anything with a heat element so we haven't made waffles in...years. So survival is possible but hard, very hard.
Love your blog about the beds. Cayla must be too tall to sleep on the top. She's going to be taller than me soon.

I can sympathize. We love our waffles! :)
Our waffle maker is on its way out, too, I think. The waffles just aren't quite like they used to be. (The waffle maker doesn't seem to get as hot as it should, anymore.) It was a high school graduation gift, so I've had it awhile!

If you want to come to Texas and see me, I will make you some fine waffles. Without hot sauce and cinnaman though......

Hey, waffles w/out cinnamon? I never make waffles or pancakes w/out cinnamon.
I am very sorry for your loss. We have a very old waffle maker that makes me nervous every time I plug it in.
