FOR TODAY
August 4, 2008

Outside My Window...it is dark. I try to do this meme while it is still daytime, but as of lately it seems as though I can only get to it when the kids go to bed. Summer seems to keep us very busy and there is no slowing down til the sun sets.
I am thinking...that my husband is the bestest and most wonderful father ever. He was gone for 3 weeks and the kids really, really, really missed him. So he took today off and spent the entire day with them. They watched Andy Griffith, had a pillow fight that lasted way over an hour, played tether ball, threw the football, jumped on the trampoline, watched movies and just hung out together. He is just so cool.
I am thankful for...the return of Tim. Wow...I missed him.
From the kitchen...Justin is sweeping the floor and finishing up dishes. What a guy!
I am wearing...my pink shirt and capris. No shoes and hair up in a bun.
I am creating...sweet memories for my children.
I am going...to go to bed soon. I am tired and Tim just climbed in. One piece of marital advice we received 14 1/2 years ago was to always go to bed at the same time. I have found that there is much wisdom in that small statement.
I am reading...blogs. That's about all I get to these days.
I am hoping...that Justin succeeds at his new job and that he can handle all his old/new responsibilities.
I am hearing...Matthew's brand new CD he received in the mail today from Sound and Spirit. I can't stand his music but he is being motivated to get the dishes done before bed. I figure it's a small sacrifice on my part to tolerate his music for a bit.
Around the house...everyone is in bed but Justin, Matthew and I. Justin is talking to Audrey on the phone while Matthew is now working on getting the dishes done.
One of my favorite things...is waking up to a clean kitchen. Thank you Matthew and Justin.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...orthodontist appointment for Cayla on Tuesday, calling my brother Ben on Thursday, baby shower on Saturday.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
This is what Larah does when Mama and Papa are not home. Seems to me that she has master the whole nonverbal communication thing.

At least I know where Audrey is:)

I pray that Tim has a long and healthy life. You are so happy when he is around.

I do curse his name every time I inadvertantly sing THAT STUPID SONG to my daughter instead of just calling her name. Grumble, grumble...

Praying for y'all.

Cute! :) Thankfully, Genevieve hasn't figured out how to open the fridge yet. :)

We're praying for you!
