FOR TODAY
August 18, 2008

Outside My Window...I can hear Justin and Lucas talking. Justin is working on his bike while Lucas keeps him company.

I am thinking...what to make for breakfast tomorrow morning. Blueberry bread, blueberry muffins, blueberry scones, blueberry smoothies, blueberry pancakes, or blueberry waffles?

I am thankful for...friends that stop by and bring their Scrabble game. I'm even more thankful that I was the winner. Yippee!!!

From the kitchen...comes the sounds of water running and dishes banging.

I am wearing...a polo shirt and denim capris.

I am creating...a new blog entry.

I am going...to Texas in November. Yep, yep, yep! I'm feelin' a Swiffer commercial comin' on, Amy.

I am reading...same as last week. Nothing.

I am hoping...that we get some more rain tomorrow.

I am hearing...the sounds of a happy and productive home.

Around the house...all the girls are fast asleep. Tim is reading, Matthew is doing dishes, Lucas is loving on me and Justin is still outside working on his bike.

One of my favorite things...is when my kids come up to me and ask me to pray with them.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...a trip to the library on Tuesday, corporate prayer meeting Tuesday evening, a trip to the dentist on Wednesday, dinner at a friend's house on Friday and probably a few games of croquet and boccie ball with the family.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Cayla is our resident smoothie maker. She makes up her own recipes and writes them down in a notebook. She is hoping to one day produce her own Smoothie Cookbook. She made this particular smoothie for her papa.

Yup, yup! Both are keepers! The book when it is done one day and the lovely girl practicing being so productive.
