FOR TODAY
August 25, 2008

Outside My Window...the wind is gently blowing and my children are playing in the "back" backyard.

I am thinking...that my creme brulee candle smells mighty fine. I have just a few left Cari. I'm gonna have to load up come November.

From the learning rooms...are coming thoughts, actions and prayers toward a new school year.

I am thankful for...my mom and dad.

From the kitchen...not much is happening in the kitchen. When I am done with this post I am going to make me a batch of popcorn.

I am wearing...crocs, capris, and short sleeve shirt.

I am creating...I worked on my cookbook for a couple of hours this week. Does that count?

I am going...to start school September 8th. I started getting excited this morning as I am beginning to get organized.

I am reading...Creative Correction and For Women Only.

I am hoping...that my washer isn't broken. It was making terrible noises a few minutes ago.

I am hearing...the children coming in from jumping on the trampoline. The wind is blowing quite hard and I think it may be starting to rain.

Around the house...Katie and Larah are coming in to watch a movie. Other than that it is very quiet.

One of my favorite things...is watching Larah drift off to sleep. She naps in our bed and I usually cuddle with her until she falls asleep. I love these quiet, peaceful moments when it is just the two of us.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...a midwife appointment, an eye appointment for 3 kids, helping with RBC yard sale, an anticipated visit with a friend.

Here is picture thought I am sharing... For more Daybooks, click here.
