Memorial Day 2008

This morning our family (along with a few extra) loaded up in the 15-passenger and headed to Packwood for the bi-annual flea market. Tim made the suggestion that we all go and we couldn't resist the invite. Plus on Tim!!! So I packed up some leftover breakfast (bran muffins) and a cooler full of water and we hit the road.
Once in Packwood, the older boys and friends took off on their own to find adventure. The rest of us casually strolled along, scoping out each vendor. Tim and I didn't find anything that we couldn't live without. However, Cayla did purchase a new pet with the money she has been saving from doing Justin's laundry. See photo below.
Cayla's New Pet ~ An IguanaIn just a few minutes we are off to the Lindley's for the Randle Baptist Church monthly corporate prayer meeting. My hair is still in a towel so I'd better download some pictures and get going. I might just get left behind if I don't get a move on things. Have a great Memorial Day!

Glad y'all had fun. We tend to shy away from the huge crowds and junk up there.
Cool new pet. I am glad that it is at your house.
Please, I am trying to get over having to stay home! Great progress has been made on our garden though, which was why I needed to stay. Still...I wish it could have waited.
