It's The Simple Things That Make Me Happy

Today I went out town with my wonderful friend, Lolanda. Before we left our little neck of the woods we stopped off in Morton to do a few errands. One stop in particular brought me immeasurable joy. You might not find this as exciting as I do, and that is okay. I am secure in knowing that I, myself, am pleased.
You see, I have always wanted a pair of pink mud boots. Pink. Not blue, not black, but PINK! Now those of you who know me, know I am not a pink person. But for some reason or other, I have always longed for (and dreamed of the day I would own) a pair of pink mud boots. Today was that day. Not only did I find these wonderful, eye-catching pink boots, but I only had to pay one dollar for them.
I love God's little blessings...one dollar for one pair of pink mud boots. I am one happy mama! I'll be sure to post a picture soon.

That is exciting!! I wasn't really much of a pink person before, but now I love it. You should see Arianna's room. It's pink with hot pink and brown polka dots. I love it. It makes me happy. I'm looking forward to seeing the picture of those pink boots :).

I have a similar wish: I have always wanted yellow rain boots, since I was about 16. (Maybe with a raincoat to match?) I haven't found them yet, though.
I'm not quite sure why I think yellow would be good... (Typically, I'd be the one to pick out pink boots!) :) I'd probably end up looking like a walking banana, anyway...
