The Simple Woman's Daybook

>> Monday, July 28, 2008

This is by far my favorite meme. I have missed the last two Mondays, so I am really looking forward to today's post (especially the picture at the bottom). For more Daybooks, visit Peggy and others at The Simple Woman. FOR TODAY

July 28, 2008

Outside My Window...the sun is setting. My back porch is clean because we finally had our yard sale. All yard sale stuff is in its proper place...anywhere but here.

I am thinking...that today is wonderful, but Saturday will be even better.

I am thankful for...the new life that is growing inside of me. Now if I can continue to trust in God's divine plan and not worry about what tomorrow may bring.

From the kitchen...is a sink and a counter full of dirty dishes, folded laundry on the kitchen table and a very messy floor.

I am wearing...carpis and a button-up shirt.

I am creating...an organized home...or at least trying. But don't use my kitchen as an example.

I am going...to see Tim tomorrow...all by myself!!! Yippee!!!

I am reading...haven't been lately.

I am hoping...that my house will remain peaceful while I am away, Justin's job interview will go well tomorrow, and my computer will continue to work.

I am hearing...The Sound of Music.

Around the house...Katie and Larah are in bed for the night. Lucas is watching The Sound of Music. Cayla is coming in from outside and I don't really know what Matthew and Justin are doing.

One of my favorite things...is the gift of friendship. Since Tim has been gone I have been so blessed by the friends God has given me. Kacey bought me a box of Panda Black Licorice and called it "My Husband Isn't Home" treat. Dalene bought me 4 "Whip Cream" candles...just because. Kacey and Barbara came over one night to hang out. Kacey gave me a foot massage!!! Gotta love that girl. Kendra and three of her girls came over and spent the night last night. Fun was had by all. Eleanor spent hours upon hours helping me with our garage sale that brought in over $1000. A big PRAISE GOD! Both for Eleanor and the money. Barbara and the Pollman's kept my kids over night last week so Lolanda, Larah and I could go visit Tim. Jack came over and fixed my dryer. Wanda, Lolanda, Kendra, Eleanor, Dalene, and Barbara all had part in my family wearing dry clothes for the 2 weeks my dryer was down. I am blessed.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...go see Tim, get our shower recaulked, clean house on Friday, and get plenty of rest.

A Picture Thought I Am Sharing...
Ain't he just so cute? And smart?
Notice all the STUFF on the back porch? It is now gone!
Our porch is beautiful!

It was such a joy to worship with Tim on Sunday! :) We really enjoyed the surprise of being able to see him. I've been praying lots for you and the precious little soul that you carry. I know what a storm of emotions this brings. Blessings to you, friend!

Oh wow! Tim looks great in a polo! Are you just going to ignore all of us about the phantom update? Posting a misleading title: now, that's just mean-spirited.

I love you and the tiniest treasure within...Praise God who holds us all!

I would NEVER admit that YOUR husband was cute! That says end of friendship to me! Cari can say it!

I am just kidding. You are married to a handsome, intelligent individual even if he is only half the man he used to be.

I am sooooo excited for you. I am praying for you and the twins everyday. I am starting rumors!
