NOVEMBER 2, 2209
Outside my window...is darkness.
I am thinking...that we only have 21 more days til we head to Colorado for Thanksgiving. Our family is busting with excitement!!!
From the learning rooms…Lucas is showing some interest in sign language and has most of the alphabet memorized. Matthew is love-love-loving the Vision Forum history C.D.'s. Cayla is almost done with her reading series. Justin is ordering his new curriculum this week. Katie is moving right along with her letters.
I am thankful for...growth and change (even though at times it is hard and painful).
From the kitchen...one big, huge mess. I am leaving for the day and I am most confident that when I return it will be well organized. I love my kids.
I am wearing...jeans, comfy top and warm socks.
I am creating...nada.
I am going...to start one-on-one discipleship this week. I am excited and am looking forward to spending time with a treasured friend.
I am reading...Love is a Decision. I was supposed to be done with it by Sunday, but was not. I need a little more time to get this one finished.
I am hoping...for some new flannel sheets...especially after climbing into bed last night. It was not a fun and pleasurable experience.
I am hearing...the hum of my computer and fridge. Other than that, my house is very, very quiet.
Around the house...everyone is still sleeping. Although I'm hoping one of my boys will wake up soon. I am cold and NEED a fire.
One of my favorite things...pictures colored and painted just for me by the Heath girls.
A few plans for the rest of the week…Seattle, AWANA, library, a few episodes of Little House, school, monthly grocery shopping, one-on-one discipleship, hopefully dinner guests.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

If I weren't about to hold that yumminess myself, I might just go a tiny bit crazy. He is 8 kinds of cute! (Lo ain't so bad herself:)
I know what you mean about the bed. I put my electric blanket on the bed today. I'll turn it on about 30 minutes before I go to bed and the sheets won't be like ice. I will then turn it off. But it will be nice to know, I can turn it on if I get cold. With Honey Bear on a business trip, that might be the case.
I loved our vacation in Colorado so I know you will too.
Have a great week.

I have an electric mattress cover and I love it.I loved my vacation in Colorado. I thought the mountains were beautiful but the towns were not. I read Love is a Decision and went to the seminar but have never believed it. I think you can be committed to someone and enjoy your life but I think love is different. I would love to hear your opinion on the book. Doylene
