THE SIMPLE WOMAN’S DAYBOOK

JUNE 1, 2009
Outside my window...lingers the smell of sweet rain combined with a gentle evening breeze.
I am thinking...about calling some friends that I miss.
From the learning rooms…testing, testing, and more testing.
I am thankful for...Peggy and The Simple Woman's Daybook.
From the kitchen...it is cleaned up and closed for the evening.
I am wearing...short sleeve shirt and capris...bare feet and hair in a ponytail.
I am creating...and organizing pictures of our camping trip.
I am going...to continue cleaning out my house and ridding it of junk. I feel as though I am making progress.
I am reading...The Five Love Languages by Gary Smalley
I am hoping...for a trip to the beach this month with Kendra. We are going to get away and celebrate our birthdays togther.
I am hearing...Matthew sweeping the kitchen floor and the dryer.
Around the house...the five youngest kids are in bed. Tim, Matthew and I are getting ready to watch a movie.
One of my favorite things...is sitting on my porch swing with a bowl of popcorn and a glass of iced tea.
A few plans for the rest of the week...Wednesday I have a trip to town to grade tests and all other days will be spent at home...my favorite place to be.
